We have renamed the 1-star web hosting service. Its new name is DNS. The content, features, and price of the service remain unchanged, and no action is required from our customers. From now on, the service will appear under its new name, for example on our website, in the control panel, and on invoices.
Renamed services:
- 1-star web hosting is now DNS
- 1-star web hosting (from 2016) is now DNS (2016)
- 1+ star web hosting is now DNS-10
We updated the name to better reflect the nature of the service. DNS (Domain Name System) refers to name services and is a commonly used term for describing a service that directs domain traffic to a desired destination. See the introduction to DNS here.
